è����˶���Ƶ College senior Anusha Lamsal ’25 reflects on her experience organizing Losar celebrations as part of the Nepali Student Org.

“I feel more confident and open-minded, open to doing things I would have been afraid to try before. I feel ready to take on challenges,” said è����˶���Ƶ College senior Sumaiya Jahan ’25.

“This place gives you exposure to different people, perspectives and even parts of yourself,” said è����˶���Ƶ College senior Sarah Bell ’25.

Mayan Caplan ’25 shares how she made connections at è����˶���Ƶ: “It’s not just that everyone is really open and willing to connect; it’s that everyone is dazzlingly interesting, and I want to be in community with them.”

è����˶���Ƶ College student Oluwafadeyemi Testimony Akinkuolie-Ibidapo ’27 went from volunteering at last year’s Trailblazers of Color Leadership Conference to becoming one of this year’s organizers.

The annual Noche Latina celebration has returned to Chapin Auditorium after being held elsewhere on campus for two years. The night was jam-packed with food, fun and community.

è����˶���Ƶ College President Danielle R. Holley provided an introduction for a showing of “Nomadland,” directed by Chloé Zhao ’05, at Amherst Cinema. The event, part of a series called “Five on Film,” highlights alums of the Five College Consortium.

“è����˶���Ƶ taught me that there isn’t one right way to be a student or live your life. My classmates weren’t my competition. They were my support system. This allowed me to reflect on what I want.”

“I remember a professor saying that studying physics is studying problem-solving, and that stuck with me. My studying hasn’t been just to memorize material but instead to teach me to ask, ‘How do I approach complex problems and come up with out-of-the-box solutions?’”

“I definitely feel like I’ve really built such a great community here. Besides my lab and my team, I have made so many friends from different classes and different events. I feel like my community is so large here.”
